Qinghai-Tibet Railway —A Miracle Road to the Heaven: In order to show the achievements of 30 years’ reform and opening-up, China Intercontinental Press has published a book series named as “National Realities”. This series has selected big decision-making and eye-catching events such as the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway and the application of Shenzhou Spacecraft to show its readers both at home and abroad, via words and illustrations, the great changes China has experienced in the past thirty years and the panoramic view of China's reform and opening-up. Recently, eight of this series have been published in both Chinese and English, and Qinghai-Tibet Railway —A Miracle Road to the Heaven is one of them. Author introduction: Lei Fengxing was born in Ninghua, Fujian Province, and graduated from the Department of Education at Beijing Normal University. He is a member of China Writers Association, a senior editor, “National Top 100 Journalists”, and Executive Member of China Real Life Literature Research Board. He was once the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of People’s Railway Daily and Chief Editor of Passengers’ Daily. He published articles and works since he was still a college student. Having been collecting and editing news for such a long time, he has written and published news reports, critics and essays on more than 20 newspapers , with words totaling over 1 million. And his works have won awards such as China News Award, Award on Industrial News and Award on Railway Good News for over ten times. Since 1982, he has published more than 20 books such as The Youth of Guo Moruo, First Teachers of the Eminent People, Grass Leaves, Stars Rise from Here, Name and Life, How the Famous Masters Read Calligraphy, Great Men and Railway, An Analysis of the Names of Eminent People, A Leap over Spring and Autumn, Shi Fengshou: A Digital Legend, etc. Books such as The Eminent People and Their Teachers and Behind the Riddles, have been recommended for national reading activities by the State Education Commission, The Central Committee of the Communist Young League, The Ministry of Culture and All China Federation of Trade Union. And his full-length reportage, Artery of the Divine Land, won him the award of China Prize for Railway Literature.
